You are the Chosen One-From a Narcissist’s Perspective

You may think you are faulty and feel ashamed for getting into a relationship with a Narcissist. Know that the Narcissist chooses you for your glowing attributes and loving nature.

You are most likely empathetic, sensitive, compassionate, wise, able to problem solve and have been told you are a great listener. Those are wonderful characteristics to possess, and quite valuable in a ‘healthy normal’ relationship. So, why would a Narcissist choose you for those traits?

The reason you are chosen by this toxic personality is for the very reason that you are wonderful in so many ways. Because you are also forgiving and even tempered, and know how to adapt, the Narcissist intuitively knows that you can be manipulated, gaslit, and will put up with their scarce attempts to please you longer than another person would.

Here is the deal:

Give yourself credit for the loving adaptable and compassionate person you are. Instead of living with shame, take a look at why YOU got involved with the Narc. What was it in you that needs healing?
