‘No’ is Your Superpower

Step 4- of the 10-Sep Recovery Program from Toxic Relationships

When you learn to speak your authentic truth, you will discover that saying No is your superpower. Saying yes when you want to say no depletes your energy, weakens your core, and brings you down. When your voice, and the words you speak, are not congruent with your soul’s deepest desires, and your preferences, you are hiding behind a mask. Of course, you have been conditioned to be the smiling happy-faced pleaser but that day is gone. Time to stand up and become all of who you really are!

People take us for face value. You may even wonder why people can’t see through you, and why no one sees the real person behind the persona.

By not living your authenticity, you are creating an opportunity for opportunists to take advantage of your weakness. If you cannot stand up for yourself, you are inviting someone else to manage that part of you.

Where you wobble, someone will step in to lend a hand. But it is not necessarily the direction you want to go. You are giving over your power to someone else.

You are living your highest potential when your words are a match for your inner feelings and truth
